The Ottumwa Symphony Youth Orchestra will present its Spring Concert on Sunday, March 1 at 3:00 PM in the St. John Auditorium at Indian Hills Community College. This performance marks the final concert of the Youth Orchestra’s season and promises an exciting afternoon of music for the community.

Under the direction of Conductor Anthony Muñoz, the orchestra will perform a dynamic and diverse program highlighted by two world premiere performances. One of the featured premieres is an original composition written by Youth Orchestra trombonist Owen Klaus, showcasing the remarkable talent within the ensemble itself.

“This concert represents the culmination of months of dedication and growth by our young musicians,” said Luke Miller, Youth Orchestra manager. “We are especially proud to premiere new works, including one composed by a member of our orchestra.”
The concert is free and open to the public, making it a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and community members to support and celebrate local young artists.
