SUMMARY:Merry & Bright Holiday Concert
DESCRIPTION:Madalynn (McKelvey) Baez\, Soprano\nThe Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra’s annual holiday concert\, Merry & Bright\, will be held Sunday afternoon\, December 10th\, at 3:30 pm at Bridge View Center. The orchestra will perform such favorites as: “Sleigh Ride”\, “With the Voice of Joy and Praise”\, and “Waltz of the Flowers”\, as well as standards such as “O Holy Night”\, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Hallelujah Chorus”\, to name just a few. Former Ottumwa student Madalynn (McKelvey) Baez will be our featured soprano. \nFollowing the concert\, a reception of hot chocolate and cookies will be served in the theater lobby. \nTickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door and can be purchased at Bridge View Center (stop by in person to avoid online fees) or order online HERE. \nOh – and did we mention kids get in free? (No need to order them a ticket; just bring them along!) \nThe concert is sponsored\, in part\, by a grant from Wapello County Foundation.
